| | There are two ways to find information on the extranet. You can browse the content areas of the site or you can you the search facility. | |
| | Your level of access is determined at the time of application to join. There are three levels of access:
- Reader - Has read-only access to the site

Most users of the PHRU extranet will have Contributor access to the site and any Public Health Networks to which they have previously been granted access. | | Alerts are a useful way of keeping up-to-date with new content that has been added to the PHRU extranet. Firstly identify the area that you are interested in. If you would like to receive an email alert when new content is added to the Library News section, for example, then click on the Library News title bar on the front page which will take you to a new page. Next click on the Alert me link on the left hand menu. If you are not already logged into the site you will be prompted to do so. You can now set your email preferences for this list. | |
